crafted by photobiz

Morning Shadows Farms specifically caters to the hunter/jumper disciplines.

From seasoned show riders to novice enthusiasts and from highly tuned Grand Prix horses to baby green hunters, MSF creates individualized training plans to best achieve the specific goals of each client. MSF carefully monitors the daily training and care of each horse to ensure successful results are attained and regularly meets with individual clients to ensure priorities are aligned.

Daily Horse Care

The foundation of the Morning Shadows program is the condition and wellness of each horse. Regular turnouts are critical to the mental well being of each equine athlete and customized diets are specially created. Additionally, the staff works intimately with partner veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors and other specialists to ensure each horse is in optimum health. Finally, meticulous daily is grooming is critically important to monitor each horse’s health, condition, comfort and sustained performance.

Morning Shadows Farm has a deep breadth of success in all disciplines and skill sets within the hunter/jumper world. Well-seasoned show riders are competitive under MSF’s tutelage in multiple classes including Grand Prix Jumpers, Big Equ. classes and Hunter Derbies. While these classes represent the pinnacle of competitive show riding, MSF is dedicated to the process of establishing a strong foundation for all levels of riders and horses, both in and out of the show ring.

Competing at horse shows should be an enjoyable endeavor. MSF horses and riders are expertly schooled at home in preparation for specific events. Logistical details are thoroughly executed to ensure optimum comfort for each horse on the road and the impeccable turnout of each horse, rider, and the stable area is taken very seriously. The result is a highly competitive and structured atmosphere that enables confidence and pride within the MSF family.

MSF offers lay-up care for the injured/ill horse that needs intensive daily care or specialized services. This program includes hand-walking, turnouts, grooming, wound management and veterinary consultation. The staff will also medicate and provide specialized services such as ice, heat or ultrasound therapy as directed by a veterinarian.
